This is the 2600W model GC3929, NOT 2200W as it says above. My wife did buy the more masculine Brown color just for me! She knows how much I enjoy ironing my own shirts. What I really like is the time I save not having to drive back and forth to the cleaners. You should include your time driving to determine your total savings. If you also factor in your time to drive to the cleaners, drop the shirts off, and then drive back to pick them up, your savings really goes up. The buttons on the handle of the iron function like very high quality switches. Placing the switch on the different steam modes snaps in with a positive click to the new position. The grip is large enough to fill your hand which made gripping the iron very comfortable. The cord is approximately 195cm (just under 2 meters). It took only two minutes to heat up after filling the reservoir with water!!! You MUST plug the iron directly into a wall outlet. DO NOT use an extension cord. Using an extension cord may decrease the amperage and result in dripping. The Philips Owners Manual says it holds 300ml of water. I could only put in 250ml and still keep the water level under the fill line. 300 ml actually went above the fill-line. I measured exactly how much water I put in with a graduated measuring cup. After ironing 3 shirts I let the iron cool down and emptied the iron's reservoir. It took 125 ml of water to iron three shirts using the normal steam mode most of the time. I did find that the Eco mode worked very well. I have now ironed 11-long sleeved, 100% Cotton, dress shirts; Three silk ties; and Two handkerchiefs. I did starch the collars on the shirts. It was wonderful not worrying about the temperature. I tried it on the silk neck ties just to test it and it performed perfectly. Ironing the ties made them look like they just came back from the cleaners. The shirts were suppose to be Noniron shirts. They have never looked good even though I hung them up immediately straight out of the dryer. I have always had to iron them. The steam is wonderful. It took me approximately 10 minutes for each shirt which is about what I expected and is about normal for me. The Steamglide Plus soleplate is so smooth and silky across the fabrics. It did move effortlessly across the shirts and ties. It was amazing how smooth it was. I never felt like I had to push the iron down to remove wrinkles. I just let the iron do the work and it did. Several times I accidentally placed a wrinkle in a shirt and then used the steam boost feature to remove it. The steam boost performed flawlessly. I had one very small drip incident out of 11 shirts. I just ironed the few small drops away. No problem. Not sure why it dripped. I will never buy another $40 dollar iron. I do expect this iron to last me a long time. The only Cons would be the need to empty the reservoir after ironing and the weight of the iron. Since ALL irons should be emptied after use to prolong their life, this isn't really a con. The weight of the iron actually helps with the ironing. I did use distilled water. I just can't stand the mineral scaling and the sputtering of the steam from the deposits. The directions said it should be stored on it's heel. I'm not sure why but that's ok. I was really wanting to purchase the Perfect Care Elite but the wife and I decided this one will probably do everything I need. After ironing the 11 shirts and 3 ties, Philips seems to have nailed it with this iron. I'm not an ironing obsessed person. I do like my shirts to look pressed with a little starch. I would love to try the Perfect Care Elite just to see what I'm missing out on. I used the iron on all steam options and I am very happy with how it performed. The Eco mode was more than enough for most of my ironing.

기존 다리미는 천의 종류에 맞게 조절해서 쓰거나 덧천을 대고 다려야 하는데 이 제품은 신경쓰지 않고 사용할 수 있어 편리합니다. 특히 프린트 되고거 얇은 레이스가 달린 아이들 옷을 망가뜨리지 않고 편하게 다릴 수 있어 좋습니다
